Why trust these numbers?
The doses come from basic chemistry, not from a product label written to sell more product. A pound of salt is a pound of salt: 10,000 gallons is 37,854 liters, so 1 ppm is 37.9 grams. Water targets are marked as CDC figures, maker figures or common practice. See the sources and formulas.
